MUMlife Community exists to love, encourage, equip and disciple mothers of all ages by infiltrating homes with bible based principles and a life giving community. It is a unique and passionate ministry for the sisterhood of mothers.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired and true word of God that reveals the love of God to the world. We believe God exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe the Father sent his one and only son, Jesus out of love to reconcile the people He loves to himself. We believe Jesus Christ is God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and through his death, paid for our sins. We believe He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and will return again in power and glory! We believe in the living ministry of the Holy Spirit, who inhabits His people and enables them to live a godly life. We believe that we must dedicate our lives to prayer, to the service of our Lord and His authority over our lives.
Meet the Team
Founders Heather Houle’ & Helen Smallbone began their involvement in a mother’s ministry in 2008 where they served on the leadership team. Helen as a mentor mum and Heather as a planning team member. Here is where they both realized they were thriving most…serving mothers! It is also through this time Helen and Heather developed a special kinship and realized the need for a unique ministry to be available for mothers in every community. In the years to come, they became aware of what mothers truly needed and wanted. Thus, they began writing an organic, biblically based curriculum to serve mothers of any age! Fostering the relationships was important. Equipping women to overflow to families that thrive!
